As we have stopped intake of new kittens/cats, we do not have any kittens under the age of 6 months.
The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application that you will find under forms on this website. As all the cats are currently in my home, I need to know who I am inviting into my home to meet the cats. You do not have to choose a kitten/cat before completing the application. Getting approved does not obligate you to adopt from Back Street Kittens. Once you are approved and have chosen a new furry family member, the final step before adoption is someone from BSK will deliver the kitten/cat to your home. If all goes well, the adoption contract will be completed.
Be advised that if you are declined, it does not mean that the adoption team believes you will be a bad kitty parent. It just means that for whatever reason(s), you don’t meet our requirements. The decision of the adoption team is final.
The adoption fee is $125 for cats 6 months to a year and $75.00 for cats over a year old.
The adoption fee includes deworming, flea treatment, combo test, FVRCP vaccinations, rabies vaccination, alter, and microchip.
