Meet “Grasshopper”

Back Street Kittens “From Feral to Fabulous”

DOB – 02/23/21

Info – Grasshopper came from Hall County. She was born to a feral mom and they lived a dangerous life. There were 6 kittens in the litter but 3 disappeared. We took in Grasshopper, brother Cricket and sister Ladybug.

Grasshopper was truly a feral kitten when we got her. She was hissy/spitty but didn’t know what to do when that didn’t scare me away! Since then, she has become such a sweet little girl. She is always the first one to come running to me when I enter their room and she is quick to purr to let me know she is happy to see me. She loves to be held and pet. We have noticed that she and her sister Ladybug are bonded as we see them grooming each other, sleeping together, and comforting each other when they get scared. They will have to be adopted together but that is a good thing. Two kittens are always better than one!

All BSK kittens have been tested for Fiv/Felv, dewormed, treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated, and microchipped.

We do spay surgeries when the kitten has hit 5 pounds. Until that time, the kitten can be adopted as a “foster to adopt” and the adoptive family just needs to work with us to complete the vetting. Once all vetting is completed, the adoption will be completed.

We strongly recommend that all kittens be adopted in pairs. The adoption fee for 1 kitten is $150.00. The fee for 2 kittens is $250.00.

If you would like to meet our kittens, please complete an adoption application at backstreetkittens.org/forms. Once approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled. Completing an application does not commit you to adopting a particular kitten or even adopting from us.
